Deleting Your Ruckaroo Account

Effective: July 6, 2026

How to delete your account

  1. Open Ruckaroo and go to Profile → Settings.
  2. Tap Delete Account and confirm with your account email.
  3. Your account is deactivated immediately and permanently erased after a 7-day grace period.

Changed your mind? Sign back in within 7 days and tap Cancel deletion.

What gets deleted

Your profile, rucks and GPS routes, photos, feed posts, comments and reactions, chat history, devices, notifications, karma history, and connections — plus your sign-in account, subscription record, and push registration with our processors.

What we keep

  • Trail hazard reports you submitted stay available to the community, with your identity permanently removed (anonymized).
  • Safety reports are retained for up to 6 years with identities replaced by irreversible pseudonyms, as permitted for legal claims.
